A short story offered free on the author's website, this episode is a conversation between Teijan, the Alpha rat, and Zane, his second, as they discuss their alliance with the more powerful cat changelings in San Francisco. It's a brief snippet that inserts well into the overall series and gives a little insight into the changeling clan that becomes the eyes and ears of the Changelings in their war with various factors of the Psy.

I've always been intrigued by Teijan, he became an important character in the series but we don't know much about him.
