Sarah J Maas is definitely one of my new favorite authors. Her stories are addicting and you don’t want to put them down. I had forgotten that A Court of Thorns and Roses was a retelling, which I think was a good thing because it wasn’t until after I finished the book and was discussing it with my husband that he figured out what it was a retelling of. If you like faeries; you are going to fall in love with this book! I would also recommend it for all of the push/pull slow building relationship lovers. This book is paced well, the characters are all intriguing...right down to Alis the maid! My favorite so far is Lucien. Feyre is a little weak in this book - but she is human, afterall... I think this world is centered around Tamlin, anyway. He has all of the interesting faeries in his court. There is one other unknown factor in the night court
