This is my first experience with reading a book authored by Jaymin Eve or Jane Washington. I didn't really have any expectations going into this book, but I am impressed nonetheless. This is also my very first foray into the enigma that is the reverse harem genre. I was always leery of trying it because I didn't know if it was really for me or not. I honestly thought that I wouldn't care for it, but this book was delightful.

Willa Knight has the curse of getting into trouble, though in this case, her curse may turn into a gift when she decides to change her grades to be able to graduate. The thing is though that by giving herself one of the highest grades, she has found herself in the position of heading to The Academy along with her best friend. Yummy, fluffy, reverse-harem brain candy!



Willa is a walking disaster but instead of being insecure about it, she has embraced it with all her being, owning it and just rolling with it no matter how often she gets in trouble.

I was worried I was going to DNF this in the beginning, honestly, because the main male characters were so awful that they are borderline irredeemable to me.

Here's the thing. Dwellers are treated as disposable, and even then it's a bit scandalous how quickly these guys go through their slaves/dwellers - they've apparently been reprimanded about it, at least somewhat, since they were told they were only getting new recruits from now on.
