Last year I started working my way through the entire series again. For a change, I listened to the audiobooks and greatly enjoyed James Marsters' reading of the first dozen books. I then moved on to reading the remaining books of the series. All of this was in preparation for Peace Talks. When Peace Talks came out, I somehow didn't pick it up immediately. The plus side to this is that I was able to move into Battlegrounds immediately after finishing this book.

It has been, quite literally, over FIVE YEARS since I read the last Dresden book. Was I that interested anymore, to read the latest installment? Did I remember the myriad characters and plot lines?

Happily, gratefully, it turns out that I did.
