Wicked Bite is the final book in Zanetti's spin-off/same world series Realm Enforcers. It was one that I'd been looking forward to since meeting Bear, the closed off alpha who heads the grizzly nation. We've learned a bit about him in previous installments and knew his actions in Wicked Burn caused him fatal harm. At the end of Wicked Kiss, Simone asked Nessa Lansa, a witch who was on the ruling council, to help save Bear. And, that's exactly where this installment begins.

Bear is one of those characters who pops up sporadically throughout the series and you always feel as if you are just scratching the surface with him. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him better in this one, I loved the revelations with Nessa. Dage, as always, is all-knowing. The big mystery finally comes to an end and it was a great conclusion. I'll definitely be re-reading all the books.

Wow. A great ending(?) to a series and I loved these two characters. Cried a little but in the end this HEA was worth every minute of worry and angst. Full review coming soon to the blog.

I believe this closes out this spin-off series and I can’t think of a better character to get a happily ever after than Bear! He has been an important supporting character throughout this storyline, so I love that he got his own book. Nessa is a decent match for him, but she was a bit too mousy for me at times.
