Enjoyable read. I actually liked this a little better than the first book. The voice wasn't as creepy, but I enjoyed the plot more. Sean et al were filming a documentary and the tone actually mirrored that, the italicized character thought monologues coming across as commentary. Graham does another wonderful job of painting the keys and the partylike environment on Duval Street at festival time. ...more

I liked this book, but it was didn't keep me as intrigued as the first book in this trilogy. Sean and Vanessa's relationship felt rushed and forced and I didn't feel the chemistry between them. It was like I went along with their relationship because the author told me to, not because I felt they were meant to be together.

Otherwise the story was great. I love how she has steeped these stories in history and I definitely love the paranormal element. I mean who doesn't love Bartholomew. I do have
