I love this series so much!
The cast of characters is extraordinary and I am glad the crew is back for more adventures and of course, Charley is back with her own special brand of snark and heart.

Charlie, Reyes and all the gang are back in New Mexico. Beep is elsewhere with her paternal grandparents under protection of the Hellhounds.
Charlie is hired to find out who really killed Emily and save her boyfriend from being framed for the murder. There's also Heather, a runaway, that swears she's cursed and slated to die. Charlie believes her and promises to save her from the curse.

Wow, there is a lot going on in this book (in fact it might have been too much at once)
What I enjoyed:
* It is nice catching up with the gang and I'm glad Charley and Reyes FINALLY talked to each other
* Her cases were interesting (the DA hiring her to prove someone's innocence and a "curse" on kids at an orphanage) but there was so much other stuff going on they got kind of lost in the chaos
What could have been better:
* Too much going on. Charley is working two cases (neither is very normal) and ...more
