Good as ever:)
Wow, we learn a lot in this one, but of course there are always more questions.
We join Charley & Reyes & the gang a week after she gets her memory back (see Ninth Grave) and they return to Albuquerque. Beep is with her guardians and Charley is pretty upset that she needs to stay hidden.
As always lots of things & ghosts are happening all at once. A video of Charley performing an exorcism in Africa when she was in the Peace Corps is going viral, and various groups of nerds are stalking her, Amber ...more

I am in awe of Darynda Jones.
Just when I think that things can't get any better in this world, she proves me wrong.
I never laugh as hard as a do when I read a Charley Davidson book. Add to that the intrigue and sexy times between Charley and Reyes, you have the makings of the most amazing book ever.
It is so great to see Charley deal with her powers, she is still learning and has a ways to go, but all that adds a new layer to the story. I love seeing the vulnerable side to Reyes, he is so stron ...more

The double and triple identities are becoming a bit too much.
I always loved the humor but in this book, it was too closely interweaved with highly emotional scenes and it made them seem fake and cheap in the last few chapters.
