SJ Harper is the pseudonym of writing team Samantha Sommersby and Jeanne C Stein and I thoroughly enjoyed this first instalment, I love UF and this was an intriguing beginning. There wasn't a huge info dump like a lot of first books have, you discovered things gradually as you needed to and there is still more to come! So far we have Sirens, Werewolves, Witches and Vampires, throw in FBI cases, likeable characters with sizzling chemistry and secretive pasts and you are onto a winner! Definitely

The plot was solid, the characters' backgrounds were intricate, and the setting was well-built. But the characters and situations didn't quite get under my skin. Hopefully, the sequel will be more successful in that department. This novel was good enough for me to give the sequel a try.

Fantastic start to a new series co-authored by Samantha Sommersby & Jeanne C. Stein. I loved the interplay between Emma and Zach. I am anxious for more FALLEN SIREN.
