Pleasure Unbound definitely stood the test of time in this re-read. And what's not to like?
✅ Doctor as a hero...not only is a he a doctor but a DEMON doctor!! A guy trying to do good in the world, saving people and with a strict code of honor! (Yes, I have a weakness for doctors as MCs...I even have a dedicated shelf.)
✅ Enemies to lovers - and let me tell you, these two are real enemies.
✅ So steamy!!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Dr. McDemon at Underground General Hospital and they have hot sex. Buffy finds out she's really half-demon and they have more hot sex. McDemon is really an incubus in the second stage of demonic transformation and must find a mate or suffer a lifetime of uncontrollable urges. Buffy and the good doctor work things out in the end and guess what? They have more hot sex.

3.5 stars. I've never read an incubus series before and I was pleasantly pleased with the characters and the story. I liked Eidolon, the interesting world, the love story, the steamy sex, sassy and clever remarks and his noble values. I wouldn't have liked it if there was just too much graphic sex and no plot or romance, but I this was better than I expected.

Liked this a lot - it was funny, the romance was good, the story and world were interesting, and it was a quick read with lots going on. Will be reading book 2 soon.
