I'm just blown away by this series. So well done, just completely gripping. I'm generally wary of angel/demon stories, but this is fantastic.
It's so gratifying to check out a YA series that people are raving about, and find out that it lives up to the hype.

It seems like it has been forever since I read Angelfall so I was very excited for World After. I might have built it up a little too much because I ended up being slightly disappointed. Don't get me wrong though, it was still a good read. I just felt like the beginning of the book dragged out way too long without anything truly meaningful happening and then when we did get to the good stuff, it flew by and we were lef ...more

3.5-stars. Part of the reason I delayed reading this was because I felt like it was such a long time between books and didn't want gobble it up so fast after it came out, but if I'm totally honest I did try picking it up right after it came out.
