On my 2nd reading I've decided to increase the rating by 1 to 5 stars.
I'm really eager for the next book as there are quite a few questions left unanswered. Not cliffhangery, just plot points to be wondered about. ...more

I love a woman who will go above and beyond to protect the people she loves. That is Nevada all the way.
This story has a strong heroine, who doesn't put up with crap from anyone. It is paranormal/urban fantasy at it's finest. I can't remember the last time that I read a book that was action packed and had me laughing out loud throughout. Add Conner "Mad" Rogan to the mix and it just ups the ante.
I think that Nevada's family stole a little bit of the show, and I hope that as the series progress ...more
