This wasn't a bad book...it's just that I hate multiple POV SOOOO much! And my dislike gets stronger with each additional POV that you add. I would have enjoyed this more if it was set up as Part I: Celeana, Part II: Chaol & Dorian, Part III: back to Celeana. It's just that by the time I got into a particular person's POV it would switch to someone else. And honestly, I'm not entirely sure what purpose Manon had at all in this book.

There was a lot of time spent on the witches which I didn't always like because it took time away from the main characters. The witches were quite an interesting sub story to themselves. A credit to the author as I found this quite amazing. She writes the witches as evil and doesn't sugar coat it but at the same time while acknowleging their evilness, she makes us like them- I'm not used to that.
