Minor spoilers from the first book, Dead Undead or Somewhere in Between.
This was a quick, engaging read. Continuing right from where book one ended, Rhiannon has just been screwed over by a demon and sent 101 years into the future. While I don't generally buy the time travel business in stories, this one worked for me.
Rhiannon finds herself in a post-apocalypic world where humans are going extinct and creepy crawlies run the place. She meets Carter, who decides in a non-attractive alpha way tha ...more

I think this book is awesome. There is absolutely zero filler reading here... One action packed chapter to the next. Saare knows how to tell a story. (and I am not a real fan of time travel books - I had no trouble keeping up) Rhia is my new favorite heroine. My heart broke several times over...Gabriel, Paine, Jennifer...aye-yi-yi. Rhia can take it; but boy can she dish it out too! The horrific visuals I had in the first book, came back in this one. She flat can kick some arse. (view spoiler)

This was a fantastic story. What a great follow up to the first book. I was completely engrossed from the first page. This is a highly recommended! The character's just come alive, they are very well fleshed out & real. The story itself is original and not just another cookie cutter paranormal. one of my favorite things about this story is the evolution of the main character. She has grown and matured as the tale continues. We don't always see that in series,so this is very refreshing.I am hooked!

Heh. I know I gave the previous book a low rating because I was just sooo mad about the cliffhanger ending... This review might have spoilers about book 1.
First of all... Doesn't end with a cliff hanger but leads to some interesting events. Whew. I even read chapter 1 of the 3rd book and I think it was a better ending right there. Hahaha!
Before reading this book I was a mess... I was able to grab a copy but I didn't start right away. I had soooooo many theories on what will happen... J.A. Saare ...more

The last book ended on a terrible cliffhanger. This one starts on it.
The book is set in the future. A century in the future to be precise, because making deals with demons is really injurious to health.
The book has a really convoluted plot, which of course includes time travel. It also includes werewolves and a mostly post-apocalyptic world. The whole thing though is beautifully done, because while it may be convoluted, it still makes sense. The fine print is in place and there are no discrepan ...more

This book was a challenge to read, the beginning was just plain wrong and Rhiannon was really whinny and annoying. However it did get better towards the end. I will read the next one because I'm just too curious not to. ...more
