What Members Thought
There were so many characters I had a hard time remembering who was who. Since there were so many people to remember (12 women plus all their husbands, ex-husbands, and children), I found none of them were really well developed. The author did one of my pet peeves--using the same phrase to describe more than one person. Only one person is allowed to have acne that plagued her in youth which turned out into a beautifully unlined face in her maturing years. I also found this book to be "anti-man."
