Danica Page (One Page at a Time)
I loved Lend and I loved Evie. White brilliantly crafted these characters.

White's writing style is compelling, entertaining, and well-developed. I will definitely be checking out the second novel in this series soon.

Definitely recommended for any paranormal fans, and even if you aren't a paranormal lover check this novel out.

This novel reminded me of why I love paranormal romance when it's done write.

I loved it. It's a sci fi fantasy book for teenage girls, and the girl has an actual personality, she can take care of herself, and has her own opinions but she is also vulnerable and unsure like a normal teenager. There is a love interest but even though both parties are paramormals, they still act like normal kids. It was a refreshing anti twilight. She had me at vampires are not sexy, ewww, gross.

Wow was really surprised how much I liked this book. It was fun to read, never lagging. The character was great! So teen and silly even thinking about her own selfishness and a point in the book. I loved the whole swear word thing (bleep). The whole book was just a great ride. Very original! The writing could have been a little better but this in a new author and it doesn't detract from the book. This is one I can even recommend my 12year old daughter read. Even the violence wasn't that violent. ...more

I loved this book, and the idea of the story is really cool. Evie grew up wtih the IPCA and never had a life outside the Center. So, when things happen, she's able to experience some sort of a "life". I enjoyed Evie's character. She is very funny, and very likable. Looking forward to the sequel.
