This is a perfect book for Christian YA readers.

Charity Bell is brave, resourceful and has strong moral values that even the best looking boy in school, whom she loves to distraction, cannot overcome under anything but the right circumstances. The Christian theme running through the book is strong and consistent, which I admire. Charity is faced with difficult situations, decisions and dilemmas and comes through them all with flying colours and the book has a satisfying conclusion.
