This is my second Gaiman book and I loved it! A fun entertaining read with a mystical fascinating story line. The characters were brilliant, the plot compelling. I listened to this on audible, narrated by Gaiman-which was fabulous. At the end there was an interview in which he talked about where he got the idea for Stardust. Very cool. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read more of his works.

I figured it was about time I catch up with the rest of the fantasy world and read Neil Gaiman (shocking, I know!). So Stardust is my first Gaiman novel ever, and I truly loved it. It is a brilliantly woven plot and it drew me right into his world of Wall and Faerie. I can definitely see why he is a master of the craft: his world-building is descriptive in all the right places. This story is a heart-warming fairy tale, and I'll be picking up another of his books as soon as I can.

Like a lot of Neil Gaiman books, I was disappointed with the anti-climatic ending. Ending aside, this is a charming little book with lyrical prose and an original story.
Enjoyed it more on this read.
