Though I must say this book was in a lot of ways very predictable, it was still entertaining and well written. I love Gaiman's style, and "Neverwhere" wasn't a let down. All the characters, except perhaps Door, were complex, interesting, and funny, and made the text well worth the read. The plot was original in that it was a setting and idea I'd never seen before, even though it can't be entirely original just on principle and the fact that the whole "person goes to an alternate world" story lin
