This was a wonderfully written book by Dan Deaube’ about family, faith, suffering, God’s goodness, facing death and the hope we have in Christ. I recommend this book for anyone going through life’s difficulties particularly if you sometimes wonder why God allows suffering and pain to happen to good people, especially when it happens to the ones' you love the most. As I read this book about the Deaube’ family, I was reminded of the verse, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (
