^^I CRAVE A SHITE LOAD MORE!^^

Hands down, Crave is better than the first book in this heart pounding series. Where Covet was an introduction to the other side of Caldwell, Crave is established and brings the jaw drop and goose bumps. The Warden offers up a writing style all her own and some of the greatest leading men, these guys make being good “oh so bad”.
Jim Heron is to the save the world by saving seven souls. He is up against a WICKED biatch. She would make you welcome the antichrist wi ...more

Given that the BDB is one of my favourite series, it is inevitable that I had high hopes for the Fallen Angels. I wasn't too impressed with Covet, but then Dark Lover was not my favourite either, so I was hoping it was for the same reason - that the first book focused mainly on world-building and setting the scene. Unfortunately, I didn't like Crave any better than Covet.
Don't get me wrong, it was still an enjoyable read, definitely better than a lot of paranormal series out there. But the stor ...more

This is a great book about the battle between good and evil. I liked that not all the warriors were mortal, and that there was ambiguity about the specific mission.
This book would work well as a stand-alone, though I enjoyed the previous book.
The plot was just fantastic. The characters, even those in minor roles, were deep and well-written. I liked the descriptions of the wealthy home in which much of this was set.

I could actually give it a 3 1/2...I ended up liking it once the story really got going for me, but it took me about 200 pages to get into it. It could have been that I was distracted by other things while reading, but I think there was so much going on and a lot of jumping from character to character in the different chapters that at first, I felt like the hero and herione were lost, but once found again, it was hot, sweet and challanging, everything I like in a good love story.
Disappointed. There's nothing else I can say about this book at the moment just that the impossible happened: I got bored with a JR Ward book. That being said it was still a great book and I enjoyed it. I heard the next one is better and good so I may consider giving this series another chance.

Totally LOVED this book. I enjoyed this one more than the first. Just love the WARDen's writing. LOVED the Lover Unleashed excerpt - so can't wait for that book :)
