Quick little mini review...

--Isaac is AWESOME! Big tough mean looking guy with a heart of gold...well, after he's done being a badass killer-face.

--Brutal! If you're askeered of rape scenes, you may want to skip a scene. It's a man who is violated, which I guess leaves more opportunity to be graphic about it? I know if it was a woman who had this done in such a descriptive way, there would be a reader revolt! I was a bit disturbed, so fair warning.

--Jim, OH JIM! You've just got to love him. He's

OK, my final thoughts on "Crave": I enjoyed the book and found myself FINALLY getting into the "Fallen Angels" series. I guess there was so much worldbuilding necessary to set up that the first book was very hard for me to understand, much less get excited about. I feel, however, that the WARDen's writing style is just too close to her BDB style and that, IMHO, knocked a star off my rating for lack of originality. This is really 3.5* but not enough for 4*
I like the way Jim Heron's character is developing and growing, and I enjoyed learning more about Adrian and Eddie. And Isaac and Grier were fine as a couple who both brought lots of baggage to their relationship. So what ruined it for me?! Disposition of the spirits of Daniel and Cissy! (view spoiler)

I dont know what it is about J.R. Ward but she seems to push all the correct buttons to hook me almost from page one.
The world is interesting, the characters feel substantial, and somehow its all still exciting and happy.

Cant wait for the next. Cant wait for the next anything JR Ward.

4.5 stars

What Ward does best is make you hang with a series because you are really invested all of the characters she writes about. I REALLY want to know what happens with Jim, Ad, Eddie and Dog. I wonder if any of them will get their HEA.

Very good book but I wanted a little bit more at the end. I want to know what happened with Isaac working with Jim? Will that end up happening? Maybe we will find out in the next book.

Not nearly as good as the BDB but very good UF nevertheless. Not much romance there and it got really gritty at a couple of points but I enjoyed it a lot. maybe I should say 3 and a half
