I had tried to read the first book in this series twice, but didn't make it through either time. But some people in a group suggested that I try this one as it was supposed to be much better. Maybe for others it is, but not for me. Anya rubbed me wrong from the start and I felt a little lost from not having finished the first book. In the end, this one just wasn't for me.

Well I’m definitely hooked! I would file this series right up there with Immortals After Dark and BDB. Showalter has a great knack for twisting the story line in new and unexpected directions. Like many other’s I enjoyed Lucien’s character and his interaction with Anya. I don’t know why but I have a thing for scars…and apparently self inflicted scars do the trick as well. (No worries Zsadist I still love you). Anarchy, the no so minor goddess was a very refreshing change as far as heroines go. T

I liked this one a bit better than the first one. So far this series is very dark to me.
