Kitaba dair belirli şeyler hatırlarken yorum yazmak ne doğru bilemiyorum ama aklımdakileri yazıya dökmek istedim. Öncelikle namını sayamayacağım kadar çok insanlar, defalarca duydum ve gördüm. Bu kadar popülerliğiydi sanırım beni uzun süre iten. Çok övülen şeylere karşı temkinli yaklaşıyorum nedense. Bende eksi bir etki bırakıyorlar.

Wrath is the oldest of the remaining vampires, but doesn't feel comfortable ruling. His poor eyesight doesn't hamper his fighting abilities, and when Wrath becomes angry, he can became the most feared vampire of his race. If anyone could be considered a friend to Wrath, it would have been Darius. Before Darius died, he asked Wrath to look after Beth and help her through the transition. Wrath's answer was No.

The action begins when Beth is walking home from work and is almost raped by Billy Riddle, a Senator's son and protege of Mr. X, a lesser who is one of the four highest-ranking lessers under the Omega (the most evil being imaginable). All of Beth's cop friends (all of whom would protect her) are on alert. The surprising result is the protectiveness that comes from Wrath when he discovers the female's troubles. One intense night between Wrath and Beth bond them in an amazing way. While she desires him, she knows to be skeptical of the 6'6" man who is heavily armed.

Butch O'Neil, a local cop and Beth's friend, believes he's found his murderer when he finds Wrath. Problem is, the suspect seems to be involved with Beth, sweet and beautiful Beth. He tries to protect her and end up entangled with the Brotherhood (Butch's story is told in book 4 of the series).

Mr. X and Billy Riddle have found gold with Beth. For Billy, she is the prey that once got away and won't a second time. Mr. X sees the bond between Beth, a half-breed vulnerable because of her impending change, and Wrath, the warriors' king who seems to have developed a soft-spot.

This book is filled with action. The relationship between the brothers is intriguing and I can't wait for the remaining books. If you are interesting in action-packed, paranormal romances, then this is the book for you!

Comments: How am I just now finding this series? Although I must say that this book is extremely reminiscent of Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed Series. I'm not complaining, just a comment. Both first books involved the unknowing beautiful female and a warrior leader/king vampire. Also, both females apparently smell like peaches to their lover. But both first books are fantastic! Wrath has a caring heart inside his fierce warrior exterior, and it seems as thought Beth and Wrath are simply meant to be together.

On a side note, I listened to this book on audiobook and, like KMM's Fever series, it is so descriptive that it works beautifully on audiobook. ...more

I am now an instant fan of 'The Black Dagger Brotherhood' series! I just loved Wrath and I can't wait to read about all of the others. I really liked J.R. Wards view of vampires, your either born one or not, humans can't be turned into one. They need to feed on the blood of another vampire of the opposite sex to stay alive...very hot! LOL Oh and I can just imagine sitting around a table with all of those large, muscled alpha-males in black leather ****sigh**** =) I will definatly buy 'Lover Eter ...more
