Granted, Bloodfever seems to have less forward momentum than Darkfever, but I still loved it. I like this voyage of self-discovery that Mac is on. She is growing up the hard way. I think the first person POV works beautifully, because this is fundamentally Mac's story. Of course, Barrons is a huge draw. He's delightfully enigmatic, querulous, and his feelings for Mac come through clearly, even though Mac doesn't really get it. I think Barrons is crazy about Mac. He is very possessive of her, and

Another amazing read by Karen Marie Moning. I love this series! My friend and I are reading it together and we can't get enough! I actually downloaded the Kindle app on my pc at work so I could get my fix during breaks. *lol
Mac is definitely maturing as the series progresses. I love Barrons and can't wait to find out "what" or "who" he is - although I have a pretty good guess. V'Lane has definitely grown on me more in this book but I still wouldn't trade Barrons for a night with the death-by-se ...more

MORE unanswered questions, MORE tension, LESS pink (which is a good thing). WTF is Barrons??! Officially addicted.
Although I'm enjoying these books, I really do not identify with the protagonist.
Also the writing style that seems more stream of consciousness leaves me a bit irritated.
But again not enough to not keep reading. Very enjoyable read, fluffy sexless fun.

So good! This one was even better than the first one and we are starting to learn a little bit more about all the characters! There was a little more intimacy with Barron's but I am still dying to know more about him! Starting the next book today!
