I don't have much nice to say about it and I wasn't sure I wanted to bother with my sharing thoughts because they're pretty negative. But, I feel strongly about this. This book - or what I read of it (made it to 41%) deeply troubled me on an ethical level.

Can't even get a grasp on this one. Talk about an extremely dark read! Both main characters are beyond broken. Heartbreakingly abused beyond anyone's imagination. Oh, boy, did my heart hurt for both of them. I truly felt that I was alongside them in this story. The author's extreme imagination of their traumas had me gasping with horror.
