So I didn't like Flashback as much as the rest of the series. Sue me. But I'm hoping that everything from Flashback sort of comes together in this book, and that my love of Kotlc is renewed. I still love Kotlc, of course, but I need it to end just as beautifully as it started. And I'm sure it will!

Yay Book 8!!!

Legacy? London? A cover representing Sokeefe and Sofitz? I must say, we're off to a good start. If only the plot and the pacing turns out as good as the title a

THE DAY HAS COME AT LAST!!!

Well, technically it came 2 weeks ago, but I have finally finished the eighth installment of Keeper of the Lost Cities series😍 After an eternity of waiting(really only a year, but it felt like SO much longer!!), endless speculation, eagerness and anxiety, formulating theories, and so much wondering, Legacy was released and IT CAME THROUGH!!

I have to say, after Flashback(which I was pretty disappointed with), I was a little nervous to see how Legacy would go. I feel li

I loved the book, but there are things that I would not have done as an author, from Shannon's perspective. If you want to read... make sure you have read the book! There are MANY spoilers!
But, if you want to read the book, you totally should. This is, however, the 8th book in a series, so I would advise reading the first 7 books. Trust me, it'll be worth the wait.

This was not my favorite book in the series, but this series is one of my favorites for sure.

I have to say as much as I love this series, it really feels like it is being drug out. This book and flashback were huge but had hundreds of pages with not much happening. I love these characters so spending time with them even with not much happening doesn't bother me. I can totally see though how it would become a problem for some people.

This book in particular, didn't have any climaxes for 600 page

I loved the book, but there are things that I would not have done as an author, from Shannon's perspective. If you want to read... make sure you have read the book! There are MANY spoilers! [I loved Sophie's new role in the Lost Cities, and Keefe's new ability will certainly spice things up, but there are several and dare I say several, choices that make me kind of... unsure if I want to read the next book. No offense to Shannon, but...(view spoiler) ...more

My favorite element of Legacy is the involvement of more characters shown in different lights. Messenger has a true talent for world building with dozens of characters emphasized in balanced amounts of attention and value. In addition, I love how Messenger is able to shock me with plot twists and revelations that are extreme but also believable.

Stina had extremely interesting character development because now she is no longer simply a "mean girl" or an enemy but an alliance with a developing fri

I did enjoy the story. I like the characters and I'm invested enough to finish reading the rest of the stories. However, the story is really spinning its wheels at this point. The plot is going around in circles. The ending was also very unsatisfying. The individual book's story didn't' feel like it came to a conclusion. Cliffhangers can be done without the story feeling like it just randomly stops. ...more

AAAAAHHHH Holy shiiiit. Enduring all of Sophie's "boy problems" (mainly Fitz who can be an asshat) was a bit tiring, but I appreciated it, since everybody and their mum forgets Sophie is just a child, and she needed to go through that. I am glad she made up her mind in the end. I really enjoyed this one and can't wait to read the next book! Can November come sooner please?? :____( ...more

A wonder full yet exciting story. Sophie now has to decided weather to be herself or the Moonlark she was destined to be. Keef knows he cant avoid his legacy but though it is planned he always has a choice on who he wants to become.
