I started this book at 2pm Saturday afternoon and was immediately drawn in. I didn't want to put it down and consequently finished it in one sitting. I will give a more detailed review after the rest of our book group had finished it.

I am not a circus fan, but I loved this book. There were things I didn't quite understand in the movie that were explained in the book. I did feel like I was transported to another world, and I never thought I would enjoy the Depression era so much.
