A really unique take in the genre, with an engaging protagonist and a well-developed story.
A few really interesting plot twists and turns, great world building (both IG and RL) and it sets the stage for follow up novels without any need for literary trope.
A must read if you are interested in LitRPG/GameLit

One of the better LitRPG novels, as this one has an actual plot line. Majority of LitRPG I've read seem to just be series of events strung together, so this one gets 4 LitRPG stars for that alone, and all the rest of the elements that make for a interesting read are OK.

A LitRPG story. It’s the future, people live underground and most people live virtual fantasy game world. Looking for a big payout to save his sick mom. Questions came up and are answered by book end. New issues pop up at the end for the next book.
