Such beautiful 17th century Dutch poetry... Pieter Corneliszoon Hooft is rightfully famous, in my opinion. Since 1899, this is the first time all of Hooft's poetry is collected again and it makes this single volume book a real, and a rare, treat.

Part of the songs included in the book are recorded on the enclosed CD and are well worth listening to.
