Thomas wakes up in a dark lift racing to the surface. He doesn’t know where he is or even who he is. All he knows is that he is in a glade, surrounded by high walls with a whole bunch of other boys. Slowly the world becomes a little clearer but at the same time more confusing. While reading James Dashner's The Maze Runner, I was both disappointed and annoyed with the characters, yet intrigued and interested with the plot.

The Bads:
Honestly, I had a very long bads list for this book. VERY LONG. First things first: the Gladers substitutes for cussing. They were ridiculous. Instead of swearing, they use obnoxious words like shank, klunk, and shuck. It annoyed the crap out of me to be honest. The Maze Runner is no way like the hunger games at all so firslty if you are thinking that then stop get that out of your head and enjoy the Maze runner as it is not as a fan of the hunger games.
