This is the first book in the Warriors series. It appears to be just the first in many books about wild cats. With more than 270 pages, this is a great book for older children to start expanding their reading comprehension abilities and challenging themselves with longer books.

My younger brother loves talking animal stories. He read through The Rats of NIHM series, Redwall and many others. Fortunately, this series has many books in it, so he should be kept busy for a while.
An interesting premise. I do hope it doesn't turn into another 'evil humans' thing, but so far not much problem with that.

Great start to a series that lots of kids love and I can see why! I can also see how one of my cats is a total "kittypet" while the other has warrior blood inside her!

Not my cup of tea. I just don't get all the hype over this series. I definitely wouldn't have liked it as a kid either- it's too violent and boring.
