This is the first book in the Lily Bard Mysteries series by Charlaine Harris. My aunt gave me this book - we share a similar taste in our cozy reads, and she said this was a good story.
I have to admit, though, that I was hesitant, since I am not a big fan of Charlaine Harris's books. I never did get into her Sookie Stackhouse series or even her Aurora Teagarden series, although I might have to give that one another try. This was better than I expected. Good mystery with fun characters.
