This is a very detailed, but fascinating account of Sitting Bull's life. We learned so much from reading this book, and we were glad to discover some of the more interesting aspects of his life (like the fact that he was called Jumping Badger and Slow for much of his childhood.)
This is a good book for an older elementary school-age or middle school-age child, especially if used for research for a report. Otherwise, the quantity of information might be a bit overwhelming. We read this book in sp ...more
