What Members Thought
More interesting creatures and robots introduced in this volume. Not as good as the last 4 volumes, in my opinion.
I kind of feel like this is a filler volume.
The most important thing that happened is finding out more about Max (evil stone kid's) background and the reason why he is what he is.
Beyond that, the stones continue to be evil and creepy, Emily and her little brother are still fighting skirmishes with the forces of evil and the poor elf prince still is treated like an unwanted tagalong.
But the art is beautiful and I'm curious to where the story ultimately ends up. ...more

So glad to be rereading these - I read this when it came out ten years ago! And the first one 14 years ago?!?!
