These chapters of the Baudelaire Orphans' sad and unfortunate events are especially soggy and slimy. And mushroomy. I do not like mushrooms. ...more

The Grim Grotto is another fine installation in A Series of Unfortunate Events. If you enjoy submarine adventures, rare fungi, and reappearances of the infamous tagliatelle grand, then you will probably enjoy this book, despite all of the unfortunate occurrences contained within.

This is a cute, funny, and enjoyable series. The Baudelaire children and Count Olaf are always in conflict, no matter where they go. The way Lemony Snicket writes is ingenious. By telling you stop reading... and other things along those lines it is even more likable.
