This was a thoroughly delightful little read. A most fascinating woman, Mma Ramotswe attracts a most fascinating array of cases--some mysteries are cozy, some not so much. If one doesn't catch your interest, the next one will. I personally found it a great way to spend an evening, among some unusually interesting people, in a charming place in Africa.

Sweet Little Book
This is a series of linked stores rather than one grand mystery solved with a drawing room reveal. The stories move in and out of each other, braided together, with some loving expressions of home and country. And I found out why the African man at work calls me ma when he's not paying attention to his English.
The novel is enjoyable to read, but gave me an earworm. Toto's Africa. I can see why, but I haven't thought of that song in years. ...more
