This was a fun, quick listen that completely kept my attention the whole way through. It was really fun to hear about life in Botswana through the point of view of a female detective. I knew nothing about Botswana's culture and so it was interesting to learn about the more traditional cultural norms and then about how Botswana is changing and modernizing.

More of an introduction to the culture and lives of people in Botswana than a true mystery, it was a fascinating look into a place I may never get to see in person. I enjoyed the characters and the writing style. Unrushed, and not particularly in any order. Very entertaining... I'm looking forward to reading more about Precious and her friends and family.

What a wonderful combination! mysteries and new cultures. This is a story about a woman in Botswana who starts her own business. Through her eyes, the reader gets to find out all kinds of cultural norms and tidbits.

I loved this whole series of books. Most of them take place in Africa and they just feel like real life experiences.
