Just wonderful. I buy books from this series as soon as they are published and I am always sad when I reach the last page of each book!

this was such an easy read..quite predictable at times...not very enthralling, but enjoyable nevertheless.

ive had this book for quite some time but wanted to wait until i had the complete series before i started it. i picked it up for $1 at the bookstore and it was worth way more than that! i started and finished it in a day! i'm not a big fan of mystery novels, but i like how her cases are started and solved in one chapter. its a fast, fun read, and i love the background given on the characters. i fell in love with the main character immediately, and am hoping that her friends stay throughout the s ...more

If I could give 3 1/2 stars I would. This was an easy, unchallenging read. The mysteries weren't very deep (I like more of the Agatha Christie/Sherlock Holmes where the answer is very hard to come by), and there didn't seem to be much of a plot to tie the whole story together (just a bunch of jobs that Ramotsway had to solve).

I might read more in the series, but currently I'm not sure. It was interesting to learn more about Botswana, but I don't think I'll run right out for the next one.

More of an introduction to the culture and lives of people in Botswana than a true mystery, it was a fascinating look into a place I may never get to see in person. I enjoyed the characters and the writing style. Unrushed, and not particularly in any order. Very entertaining... I'm looking forward to reading more about Precious and her friends and family. ...more

What a wonderful combination! mysteries and new cultures. This is a story about a woman in Botswana who starts her own business. Through her eyes, the reader gets to find out all kinds of cultural norms and tidbits.

This was an interesting read. I found it hard to get into but in the end I am glad I pushed forward with it. Not sure if I will read more into the series or not, but will definitely consider it.
