This is a hysterical interpretation of our current political situation. Charles Pierce bases the majority of this book on what he terms "The Three Great Premises" which essentially state that, in our society, whatever is most popular, whatever is loudest in its fervor, is true. This is a scary concept when applied to situations such as war, global warming, and religious fanaticism (Christians- you, too!).

This little book was surprisingly good. I had expected a light-hearted Bush-bashing affair, and although Charlie Piere shows his comedic and intellectual wit, this book has a serious message. His treatment of the Terri Schiavo debacle is particularily detailed and moving.
