It was okay, a lot of description of the island and I am still wondering what happened to one of the boys. I have an idea, but this book picked up speed more than halfway through the book and to me this showcases how others that cannot think for themselves are easily led even Ralph.
I did enjoy the descent into primal ways, this is definitely no Gilligan's Island and as a parent you wonder if you instilled good values into your child or children if something like this should happen.
