Read for I Read Comic Books Book of the Month October 2018.

As a general rule, I hate all things zombie. Walking Dead gives me anxiety, zombie movies are scary, and I am perfectly content to never read World War Z. So obviously, I wasn't super thrilled about this being my first read for the IRCB Book of the Month - but I'm so glad it was! I would have never picked this up otherwise, and I actually really enjoyed it.

I'd like to think I read a pretty diverse range of comics, but I definitely don't

There's a lot going on in this story, and I'm glad I saved this for reading in trades. I can't imagine trying to piece all the storylines together and keep everything straight waiting for single issues.

That being said, even tertiary characters are relatable in their reactions and emotions. I love how often a person's mental health is considered, whether it be anxiety or PTSD.

I will definitely read more of this.

This is part zombie story part ghost story set in central Wisconsin. First off, I think the locations and character types used fit well for the setting. It isn't a traditional zombie story since the dead that revive aren't looking to eat people. There is a character that is referred to as a ghost and a demon, but nothing conclusive is presented.

My biggest gripe is how the quarantine works here since it covers a wide area. There are lots of back roads and small towns that someone could use to sne
