A relief: a book that I was fully interested in!
A well-written mystery story, rich in language, plot and characters. Had a strong Wilkie Collins feel, although obviously for the younger audience.
I particularly liked the main character, Faith, and her relationship with the young photographer, Paul Clay. Brilliant. Thought it would be rubbish for some reason. I was very wrong. It was brilliant.
