I read this book A LOOOOOONG time ago. It's been decades since I have read/reread a King novel. I was quickly reminded of how long winded he is. It's not necessarily a "bad" thing, it's just that he reeeeeeeaaaaaaly takes his time in describing in painstaking detail every single action/thought of every single person who's point of view he is writing from. One of my top four favorite King novels. If you pay attention you will see how King's stories were interwoven from the very beginning. Both the book and the movie scared the crap out of me back in the day. (and still do today really)

I read this when I was in college, when his popularity was just beginning and his books were a lot shorter!
