An adorable, charming play. Magical woods, love potions, fairies, all my favorite things.

Three and a half stars. I don't know why Shakespeare's comedies don't do it for me. I wanted to love it; I just didn't.

Five stars for the play of course but the Arden third edition, though good is inferior to the second edition. It is more extensive in that it’s more baggy and shows not the same depth of knowledge of the previous editor Harold Brooks. This perhaps reflects the trend of regression from Arden’s second to third editions
