I actually DNF’d this at 80% and my sister told me the ending. What hot garbage 😭 I’m so disappointed and sad. Felt like reading a soap opera with no real plot and more random “erotic” scenes. Sorry bestie, it’ll take some convincing to get me to read any other books. A shame after I loved the previous 15 by SJM 🙃 felt like a completely different writer, lacked finesse and character development.
2.5 stars. Ouch that star review hurts to type out. Lots of things didn’t line up, characters were introduced that were irrelevant, too much time was spent on certain storylines; while not enough time was spent on others. Things felt a little sloppy and slapped together. Not the same brilliant writing we are used to. Things wrapped up way too quickly and neatly.
