What Members Thought
The Shadow of the Wind is haunting, passionate, sinister and beautifully worded. A mystery shrouded in mysteries. I feel as if I should be honored to have gotten to read it.
2020 REREAD: *sigh* Guys, this book is a special masterpiece. One I hope my kids will read one day.
It’s brilliantly written. I laughed. I cried. Fermìn alone is worth a billion stars.
I don’t know why I didn’t read the rest of the series when I originally read this. Knowing it’s different characters, I think I was worried it wouldn’t live up to the hype. 🤷🏽♀️ But pandemic life will help me remedy this nerdy fear. 5/5
