This was the first book I read from Leigh Bardugo. I read somewhere it wouldn’t be any problem if you started reading Six of Crows first before Shadow and Bone. My library didn’t have the English version of Shadow and Bone yet so that’s why I started reading this one first.

The narration for this is fabulous. I loved that all the MCs had their own narrator it gave them all that something extra. I finally got to reading this book because of the TV show starting up shortly and since I've read the Grisha trilogy I wanted to make sure I knew these characters too.

Yes - I wanted to know what all the hype was all about - So I finally got around to reading this book.
And I liked it. I liked it because it was different. The concept of pulling off a heist in a built up imaginative world was something interesting and so were all the characters in this book. Each and every one of them was mysterious in their own ways and nobody came off as too stupid or annoying. Come to think of it, i actually liked all the characters. There was no one i didn't like.
