Shelves: kindle-book, own-it, horror, read-in-2018, group-read-vwf, thriller

This story is told from multiple point of views. From Hattie- the murder victim, from Peter- the high school English teacher and from Del- the town sheriff. For me, at first, the story was really slow. About 25% through though it picked up and pulled me in. I was pretty sure I had guessed the murderer by the first 25% but I was definitely wrong. I was still sure it was the same person around 70% in. This was a good murder mystery, really interesting plot and characters.

Really well written book that I couldn't put down. The characters really came to life for me during this read. I have to say that about half way through the book, I was really sad that Hattie was the murder victim. I enjoyed her unique character. ...more
