This book is NOT for the faint hearted. I had to put it down several times because it was all too real for me. If you or someone you know had/has cancer I don't think it's a great idea to read. It took me back to that place and broke me down. Something I haven't done in years. If he planned for a heartbreaking novel he accomplished it. Don't get me wrong I loved the characters and his style of writing. I felt very connected to the book, which is something I love. ...more
